OLYMPIC TEAM QWEST TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

The Qwest Tour will feature the 2009-20 US Women's National Team playing 10 games throughout the United States. The Qwest Tour will stop in 10 cities between September '09 and February '10, and will feature a trio of games against archrival Canada. Here are the dates and locations:

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After defending its world title for the first time at the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Women's Championship last month, the U.S. Women's National Team was named the U.S. Olympic Committee's Team of the Month for April. In addition, Caitlin Cahow (Branford, Conn.) was honored as the USOC's Athlete of the Month.

USA Hockey today announced the 21-player roster for the U.S. Women’s National Team that will seek to defend its world title at the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Women's Championship April 4-12 in Hameenlinna, Finland.
